Ocean Breath

Fun Fact: Phytoplankton, microscopic algae floating in the oceans, along with plants, algae, and cyanobacteria on land, power the process of photosynthesis, pumping out most of the Earth's oxygen. Astonishingly, these little marine plants are estimated to contribute about 50-85% of the oxygen in our atmosphere. So, next time you take a deep breath, remember to thank the oceans!
